The brain, a marvel of evolution, and the heart as motor of our bodies – two inseparable organs which we have always been fascinated by. Each, together and separately, remain subject to studies led by scientists of many different research fields. Findings from these studies, including some very recent, have surprising applications for personnel and organisational development – we will report on some of these Best practise examples during the course of our Business Breakfast.
Neurology is the science dealing with symptoms and diseases linked to the nervous system. This nervous system includes the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) and nerves (peripheral nervous system). The primary task of the nervous system the is coordination and control of our bodies, it is also the centre of our thoughts and feelings. Equally important, it is the intermediary between mental, emotional and physical processes, effecting the close correlation between mental and physical functions. Modern brain research and present comprehension of neurobiology and evolution enable us to get insights on the key aspects of brain-compatible forms of work and leadership and enable us to maintain motivation and health in a modern working environment.
As guest speaker we welcome Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lalouschek, MSc.
He is:
- Neurologist and systemic coach, physician and biologist
- Head of “theTree” health centre in Vienna and managing director of The Tree Consulting GmbH
You can look forward to intriguing new information, finding out about the interplay of brain and heart and a discussion of the newest findings with us. You will receive concrete tips for yourself and implementation steps for your company.
